Hi,

im using Photoshop/ImageReady CS. Im trying to build up a menu with submenu.

I really tried everything – but it won’t work the way I want it to. I build the menu with a over – effect on every main title. I also made a down-event on every main title to show the submenu. – Works perfect. I also want to make over-effects on the submenu titles.

That doesn’t work. The whole submenu is shown, as soon as i enter the zone, where the submenu-slices are defined. I want the submenu only to be shown after the click on the main-slice.

Is there a way in ImageReady to define that?? I know, that you can do it with the selected-effect, but then the menu stays selected and i want it to dissappear when i leave the "menu zone"

Take a look:
Menu 1 with selected – effect:

Original File ist: http://ae.vogel-net.de/webtest/menu1.psd

Here the Menu’s stay open!! I want them to close when leaving the menu zone

Menu 2 with over – effect
http://ae.vogel-net.de/webtest/menu2
Original File ist: http://ae.vogel-net.de/webtest/menu2.psd

Here, the menu’s appear when entering the menu zone from below. I want them to enter only when the main title is clicked!! The rest of the behaviour is perfect.

Anyone an idea?? Is Image Ready able to handle "sub-slices" or "depending slices" or can i make different slice-layers that are activated in dependence of a former action?

Thanx in advance
Frank
