Hi,
I have a photo that I have selected a certain color range on one of the layers. I then cut-and-pasted the selected areas onto another layer so that I could change their slight variations of color to one solid, consistent tone. However, even after going into the levels, the contrast and the brightness, the selected areas maintains gradients of the hue (ie. when all other layers are turned off, the selected area is semi-transparent in some areas and only opaque about half the area).
Is there a quick and easy way I can just go in with the one isolated pasted layer I am dealing with and change it to one consistent brightness level with no contrast within that particular area? The only way I found was to use the paintbucket option within the marquee areas while still highlighted and repeatedly dump the color I want until everything within the marquee is consistent.
Any assistance is appreciated!!
