Hi I have searched through the forum trying to find the answer to my question first, but I can not find anything here or on google that answers it!!
I was watching this tutorial: (about the middle of the page) Image Warp and Photoshop CS2
New 08/01/05
Discover some of the new features found in the CS2 Warp tool, and learn how to warp text with amazing control.
After he fixes the bottle shadow, he goes on to show how you can access additional characters using Open Type Fonts. Bickham Script Standard is the one he is using.
I do not happen to have that particular font on my system??? But in CS2 my font drop down menu I can see little icons that are (A=Adobe, 0=Open face?, Tt= True type fonts) But it doesn’t seem to matter which ever "O" font I choose. I can still not get the Character fly out menu to have the option "Open Type" active so I could choose Standard Ligatures, Swash, and such.
I did read somewhere that Adobe has recreated a lot of their fonts into Open Type, but now my question is how does a person know if you have the correct open type font with all the extras?
My computer is brand new and I would assume somewhere on this system is a font that would allow me to use the different characters availible to use in CS2?
Just curious and one of those things that bugs a person!! ;o)
