Is there a photoshop plugin to help to those or you just have to do it manually by copying the layers and transform and line them up properly? Here are examples.

You can do it yourself. Just take the layer you want to mirror. So select it and aks to transform. Doing this, you will see the perfect center of the layer. Drag a guide to keep the center in mind.
Now select only the half of your layer. Copy and paste. Apply flip horizontal and place the new layer next to the center the other side. Now you should have obtained what you want.
Notice that you can perfectly create an action, so you won’t have to repeat manually the operations all the time.
