I have a hard line in the color picker in the blue/purple. Try R=30 G=50 B=174. Very strange. I am using CS, same problem was in 7.0 as well. My system is a 2.8Ghz P4, 1gb ram, 120gb HD.

Is this my monitor or a bug?

Thanks.

Jeffrey,

I’m not sure what a "hard line" is. If the following doesn’t help, maybe post a screen shot to a web location somewhere and tell us the link.

As a test, go to control panel and run the System applet. Find Video Hardware Acceleration and set it to NONE. If the problem goes away, is vid drivers. You’ll have to either udpate or roll back a version of vid drivers.

Peace,

The color picker is referencing your RGB working space. If it’s not all that accurate or the monitor isnt completely calibrated, you will see some banding and lines in the color picker.

This is what my color picker looks like. How do I calibrate my monitor to correct this? or is it a RGB working space problem?
