I have Photoshop 7.0 installed on two PC’s. On one machine everything works fine, but on the other certain tools don’t work. For instance certain brush tips don’t work (all the basic one’s) while some do (the leaf shaped one etc.) Same thing with the clone tool and the eraser tool which works only in ‘block’ mode , but not in ‘pencil’ or ‘brush’ modes even though the settings are identical/opacity is set to 100 etc.

I’ve tried un-installing and re-installing but nothing changes.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

You could try trashing your prefs. That’s all I can give you since you didn’t even tell us one thing about the system.

You might want to look at brush tip dynamics.
