Not clear what you are asking. What do you mean "cut an eps figure"? Can you provide more details?

Not clear what you are asking. What do you mean "cut an eps figure"? Can you provide more details?

I have some bad generated eps figures. They have unnecessary empty areas.
I would like to cut out such areas. In other words I would like to frame my figures.

A text editor may suffice:

You can open EPS in Photoshop and use the CROP feature.

Or if you are real good, you can edit the EPS directly with a text editor. 🙂

I think the OP was implying he doesn’t have Photoshop, but had succeeded in finding a newsgroup where people seem to know about such things.
