Running a batch process to make thumbnails in Photoshop CS 8.0. I made an action: open, resize, sharpen, append "TN," save. First time, a month or so ago, it ran just fine, saving to a folder called "thumbs."
This time, it happily accepted a new source folder in the Batch dialog, but totally ignored the destination folder I set, as well as the naming instructions. It insisted on saving to the old "thumbs" folder specified in the action. I tried moving the folder to another location, and then to the trash, and the destination in the original action automatically changed to wherever I put it, including the trash. When I dumped it and emptied the trash, running the batch resulted in a series of "Could not complete the action because the folder could not be found" messages. When I did let it save to the "thumbs" folder it ignored the naming rules. The behavior was the same whether or not I checked "Override action Save As commands."
Is this a bug or did I do something wrong in setting it up?
