I’m getting blue lines over text and images when ever I print. This happens in all my photoshop programs. It started in cs, then I reinstalled 3.0 same thing, then 4.0 same thing. My printer is Lexmark X5150. It make my text and images look like a blacked out secret government document, only blacked out in blue, Can anyone help me.

2 questions, is the print the same from other apps? word or wordpad or notepad for example? if so, run a test print. could be a problem w/your printer.

next, make sure you don’t have strikeout selected in the character palette in PS.

No, only happens in Photoshop, every other app prints Perfect.

check the character palette to see if strikeout is set. if that’s not it, reset the character palette from it’s flyout menu. if THAT doesn’t work, reset your prefrences per the FAQ.

This sounds very similar to my problem! I had to completely remove Photoshop using the Windows Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs to clear this problem. I then reinstalled Photoshop CS from the CD and my problem disappeared. I did run a test print using Qimage and my printer had no problems and I would guess that this is a CS bug and not your printer.
