I have some old photos taken indoors with daylight film under incandescent lighting, and they all have a very orange color cast because of the very warm tungsten bulb lighting. I tried correcting the color back to something more correctly balanced, and I thought I was making a little progress, but the final result is just about as orange. It’s terrible. Why can’t I adjust the hue back to correct—such as by shifting the hue in the opposite direction? There is probably some simple trick, I am guessing.
