I am trying to record an action that duplicates a layer and then rotates the new one 5 degrees. (I want to make a rotating anigif). Tweening doesn’t cut it, it seems not to understand I want a rotate effect, it keeps mlurring old and fade in the new, not what I need. Using Photoshop/ImageReady CS, I keep getting the action duplicating the same original layer, and I want it to dupe the active layer instead. Any tips on how i can convince PS to take the active layer, not the original one ? I can find a lot on actions in the manual, but not what I need, or I am overlooking that bit. Books, sigh…
Is it possible to edit the actions as a script of somekind as well? Sometimes I just don’t seem to get the exact thing I want.
Thanks!
