I’m trying to make a bump map for a pipe. I’ve tried using gradients but can only get a linear pattern. I basically need to create half the pipe’s bump map and then just copy that for the other half. I’m also using the nvidia tool Normal Map Filter to preview it and then generate the normal map.
I’m not sure if this is the right way to explain what I am trying to do, but any help would be appreciated.
