Hi
I am an average user of Photoshop 7, I am trying to create a text logo for my company. I am starting with a transparent background at 600dpi, I am entering three words of text then rasterising the layer then using a three colour gradiant fill top to bottom, I use the pillow seection from the bevel/emboss menu, make a few adjustments so it looks like 3D text then print it which looks quite good. I then need to convert the same image to jpeg so that I can use it in Word for stationary it is not so good.
The biggest problem is for my web page header, I reduce the dpi to 96 then save to web, when I insert the image onto a web page I get a white outline and it looks crap.
Can anyone make any suggestions or tell me where I am going wrong.
Thanks for any help!!
