Is there some way to make photoshop 7 to ALWAYS show thumbnails when using OPEN command in the file menu? I am sure it must be a simple trick that I am overlooking and it gets pretty annoying having to change the view options all the time.

Thanks

Use the File Browser. Instead of going to File >Open, go to File > Browse.

You can also dock the File Browser to the Palette Well to keep it handy if you’re opening and closing frequently. You can select from three thumbnail sizes and even rank images in your folders.

Another way may be to set your folder options in Windows.
