I have a photo i want to use, but its a back and white image, but would like to know how to colorize it. then i i can use for a compuer screen background.

I bought a program a few months ago and it is incredible. Check it out for yourself on the trial basis. Do a Google on BlackMagic colorising.

The simpliest way is to make a new layer, blending mode "color" and paint on the new layer with a soft brush – it’s better to paint into selection you have
made first – and then play with the opacity….
make your own color chart first and watch for www.retouchpro.com or directly at
http://www.retouchpro.com/pages/colors.html for human skin and hair colors.
