Photoshop CS Lighting Effects not working!

Have tried to use the lighting effects filter in Photoshop CS, but an error comes up saying:"Could not complete the lighting effects command because a requested property value could not be found".

Have tried re-installing but problem still exists. Image modes are correct.

Please help
