Installation of Creative Suite Premium Broke Adobe Gamma

I have long had Photoshop Elements 2.0 running on my Win XP-Home machine. This weekend I installed Adobe Creative Suite Premium (including Photoshop CS) and Adobe Gamma stopped working. Every time I try to run Gamma it fails immediately with an error message (Adobe Gamma has encountered an unrecoverable error.).

I can’t sort out how to unload and reload from either product. Any assistance would be appreciated.
