When I save a file, close out, and open later some images’ quality is degraded. I have to nearly recreate the files again for quality. Can anyone help me with this?

Sounds like you are saving to a lossy format. What are you saving your files as, and what are you going to use them for?

For files that needs later editing, you should save to a non lossy file format such as PHotoshops own .PSD format.

And what kind of degradation are we talking about? You have an example you can post somewhere?

I have been saving as a .PSD file. When I close Photoshop and open later the quality of images have become burry and not crisp. I am creating items for print such as flyers and brochures. I drag and drop images and photos onto a flyer. I will try and post an example. Thanks!

PSD is a lossless format. Is it possible that when you are creating your flyer, that you are downsizing the the images dramatically and they just need to be resharpened?

Sarah said she’s using psd format. I wonder what program she’s using for her flyers and brochures.
