Most of the 100-year+ old Victorian postcards I’ve collected show many signs of age and abuse. I scan my these old image in 48-bit color vs. 24-bit (‘billions" of colors, rather than the normal "millions" of colors). This allows me to eliminate the "haze" of yellowing and fading without degrading the final image. Here’s an example:

I’ve taken some of these beautifully-restored Victorian Valentine graphics and turned them into e-Cards. You can email these cards to your friends and bring a smile to your loved ones when you send them a sentimental reminder of kinder and gentler time.
