Hi:
I want to do the same thing (combine images) but once I get ready to paste
and
do it the 2nd imported image goes partially on top of the original image.

Make more room for it

cannot move the 2nd image around – it is stuck on the first image.

Chose the right layer and the Move tool

I have PS5.0LE. Could this older software not be able to do this?

Don’t blame it on the software, take the manual and spend a day or two reading as much as you can.

Thanks

Sure,

I’m glad that what I often imagine stays purely in my filthy little mind where no one else can see it.
