Text is missing from exported HTML file.

When I click on "Save to Web", all the images get exported to an "images" folder and they appear properly within the html file that was created, HOWEVER, the text in the psd file (text layers) didn’t export to the generated html file when viewed with any html editor.

Why doesn’t the text layers in the psd file get saved as text in the html file after Save to Web?
