actions are not being saved

Hello, I am new to actions & did not realize I had to save the set in order to use them in the future. So I recently saved them, however when I re-opened Photoshop, and try to use one of my custom actions, they don’t do anything, untill I do the actions by hand- for instance, I have Nik Filters, and I have an action that uses the contrast only filter at 112%. When I re-open Photoshop the action will only work when I go to the contrast filter, dial in 112% and apply- then the pre-set actions works fine.

Any ideas?

think you have the "Toggle Dialog" box checked beside your action. (its a weird looking little white box with a gray top on it, beside the checkmark) hope that helps!
