Hi,
What differences have you seen between Digital GEM(Kodak), Neat Image, and Dfine(NIKMultimedia)? I have a whole lot of old digital photos that were taken in low light. Outdoor christmas lights, 4th of July fireworks, and some photos in museum where flash was prohibited. I know forget it. Well, I took a family photo from a skating rink and used GEM and brought it up to a pretty good level. Again, I have some decisions to make about different plugins.

Everything I have seen and my own testing shows NeatImage to be the best. But, you do need to take the time to create profiles for each device and each setting of the device. For example a digital camera you would want to create a profile for each of the ISO speeds, etc. Once this is done it is a snap and NeatImage does an incredible job.

Hi Robert, out of interest, what settings are you using? When I used Neat Image, it did a great job of reducing noise, but it also turned my photograph into a watercolour painting! 🙂

Thanks,
