Using Photoshop ver. 6 with WIN Me. How do I save an image WITH all layers available? I have an image to which I have added text and wish to save that image and text so that when it is opened BOTH layers, the image and the text, are available under Windows-Layers.

I should have added that I wanted to save as a .TIF and not as a PDF, with all layers available.

I don’t know if PS 6.0 supported layers in TIFs. But check under prefernces to see if enable advanced tiff options (or soemething to that effect) is available. If so, enable it.

BTW, why not just save as PSD or PDF?

Layered TIFFs are option in PS 7 and CS.
Can’t remember when they became available.

Just do Save As, TIFF.
Is layers a checkbox in the TIFF save dialog in 6?
If so, you should be good to go.
