I need to save Photoshop CS images in the jpeg format. With CS, the only way I can see to do this is with the ‘File > Save for Web’ command. When I select the ‘use document color profile’ while saving for web, it displays the image with the same coloration as in the psd file. However, when I save the jpg version, and open it with Internet Explorer, the image does not have the color profile coloration, but rather appears as though I had checked the ‘uncompensated color’ choice.
Note – I am using the same monitor with both Photoshop and Internet Explorer; I have selected the highest quality for the jpegs, and have tried checking the ICC box (no impact).
Questions:
1) is there a better way to create jpegs?
2) how can I create jpegs that are similar to the psd as to coloraton?
Thanks for any assistance with this issue.
