Now I’m cooking with Gas on the picture quality front, suddenly my Canon IP4000 printer don’t look so good.

Its been fine knocking out my CD’s and DVD’s text only and the odd picture I would knock out of this and that, usually involving a Grandkid or some such aberration.

Now I’ve got something on the screen which is making me drool, even with SWMBO there < 😉 > , and of my own making, suddenly I feel the need to print.

However, what I see and what I print in no way matches. The prints are OK but hummm…

Anyone got an easy way to calibrate?

So far all I’ve found on the web is either to buy ink in 45 Gallon tanks and paper in mill gate quantities, settle down and print until the thing blows up, or find some, what appear to be non existent, profiles and hope they work.
