In windows, there’s a brushes directory, and an Adobe Photoshop Only directory with brushes in it, my question is what’s the difference between these two directories, and also, do the default brushes you get when you reset the brushes in the software have a brush file somewhere, or do the default brushes not come from a standard abr file? Thanks.

ImageReady doesn’t read the newer brushes from Photoshop 7 or later.

Cool, thanks for the info. Anyone else know if the default photoshop brushes come from an abr file?

In photoshop 7, it’s C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Required\Default Brushes.abr (for my clunkin’ ol’ Win98SE machine).

I did a search for *.abr on the machine <smile>

Peace,
