I want to be able to draw a simple line, similar to doing it in Illustrator. But there doesn’t seem to be any easy way of doing it in CS.
I know I can do it in version 5.5.

In CS it does not draw the line properly without having to do more editing to the line.

By the way, what does "CS" stand for?

Thanks.

the line tool is under the shape tool. any tool in the tool box with a little arrow in the upper right hides other tools. click and hold (or right click) on the tool in the tool box to discover other tools hidden underneath.

cs stands for "creative suite"
