Photoshop loads and then crashes.

I’m having a weird problem with photoshop 7.0 . When i click on it, it starts loading, and then it never open the photoshop window. I’m running win2k with 512 ram and over 2 gb empty HDD space on the drive running photoshop. I’ve tried reinstalling it etc and it doesnt work. I found an old copy of photohsop 6.0 and installed it, and it worked, but I just cant make the 7.0 work! ANy ideas??

Have you tried deleting your preference file as per instructions in the FAQ? A re-install doesn’t delete that file.
