I am trying to make a navigation bar using instructions from the Adobe website and I’m stuck. Here’s the website: <http://www.adobe.com/tips/phs8navbar/page3.html>
I’ve been doing fine until step 7, second paragraph:
"Using the Move tool, drag the duplicate tab to its new location. Let the Smart Guides help you snap the tabs to each other and align the bottom edges. Use the Text tool to edit the text layer for the new tab. To more easily identify the new tab and slice, rename the new group and its layers in the Layers palette, as well as the newly created slice in the Web Content palette."
The instructions say to move the duplicate tab to its new location. I know this sounds crazy but I have no idea why you would move the tab to a new location. Can someone please enlighten me on the purpose of this step. I’m sure its just something simple that I’m missing.
Thanks!!! 🙂
