I’m trying to create a new Bevel & Emboss effect on a layer, and every time I make changes to the settings, all the other Bevel & Emboss effects I have on other layers change to the new settings. How do I single out only the layer I want to change, and keep all the others the way they are?

Thanks in advance!

Un-check "Global Lighting" when applying effects to subsequent layers.

This will allow you independent lighting-angle control in your new layer without affecting how it was set for previous layers.
