For some inexplicable reason, when I print a photo, a single or sometimes two thin black lines print across the full breadth of my color photos. It just started doing it today. I’ve printed dozens of others in the past where the lines did not appear. It occurred on two different photos from different files. I’ve rebooted and turned the REt on and off and it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

Lisa,

May be your printer heads need cleaning?

Are the lines in exactly the same place on both files?

Also check paper rollers, especially the pickup ones.

And just to rule it out, make sure your ppi is not a fraction, like 300.23. Some printers will seemingly try to create the "partial pixel" and create a line.
