I’m using a recently installed Photoshop CS on WinXP SP2 on a machine with 1GB RAM.

When I try to apply the Lighting Effect filter in Render (I’ve tried with an RGB and a Grayscale image) I get the following error message:

Could not complete the Lighting Effects command because a requested property value could not be found.

Please help.

Many thanks,

Jon

Did you do a custom install or something? I would reinstall first – it won’t change any of your customizations and if you’re missing something or something is corrupted, a reinstall should sort it out.

On the Mac, you need to purge your clipboard, and the Lighting Effects works properly.

I did not custom install.

I will try clearing the clipboard and see if that works before I reinstall.

Thanks,
