I goofed. I have a crappy, grainy logo somebody gave me and I decided to clean it up by redoing it in vector format. But I did it
in Photoshop, only because it was already open and I was too lazy to open Illustrator as I should have done in the first place. I
figured I’d just export paths to Illustrator and put it together later or something. Anyhow, I’ve now got this Photoshop document
with about 50 vector mask layers, and I’m trying to export this into a useable Illustrator format, but the "export paths" function
will only do 1 layer at a time. Is there some way in Photoshop to combine these vector masks into one big vector shape that I can
export as .ai or .eps? I tried merging the layers, but that rasterizes them, and I want to keep this in vector-format for clean
scalability. I really hope I don’t have to export the paths one at a time, or worse, redo it in Illustrator as I should have been
doing to start with…

What versions are you using? I have found that I can Export Paths to Illustrator and get the option of exporting all paths in ai format (there’s a dropdown in the Export dialog). Once in Illustrator you have to separate the paths if you want them on different layers by using Cut/Paste in Front.

Using PS 7 and Illy 8. Maybe it’s not working in later versions of Illy? I have heard there were problems with 9 and 10.
