I suspect Barbara has posted this already, I have been traveling and behind, but just in case she didn’t, here < http://www.macdevcenter.com/pub/a/mac/2003/08/26/osx_scanner s.html> is a reference I found interesting regarding OS X and scanners.

Barbara, I would like to know what you think of this reference-particularly about Microtek scanners and OS X.

Sorry, Carl, I thought I had posted here, but it’s gone if I did.

If the part about microtek is true, that’s a very good thing. I do wonder a bit, though, because in the past they haven’t made any bones about telling OS X users to get lost because they had no intention of providing drivers even for scanners that were brand new when X came out.

Good scanners, dubious mac support. So I hope the article is correct. It seems to be spot-on on most of the other scanners.
