I know you can open a RAW file as a smart object into an existing document using the place command In order to do that you will need an open document the size of the RAW file I was wondering whether this is possible directly from within the ACR window, effectively meaning that whenever I open a RAW file I can access its RAW conversion settings anytime buy simply double clicking its layer

Thanks in advance for your comments

P.S. I have also placed the question in the ACR forum to get more coverage 🙂

It can’t be done directly from the ACR window.
But soon we’ll release a javascript to do it automatically.
