I am using a Mac G4, Photoshop 8.0CS. Simple question: I cannot understand what the shortcut for "Save As" is. It looks like an arrow, then command, then S but I cannot find what looks like the arrow on my keyboard. Can anyone help me find the correct keys. Thanks.

In case you don’t know, the "command" key or arrow key, like you say, is the one that’s located to the left and right of the space bar – it has an apple icon on it.

And the command key’s got the Apple logo and pretzel symbols.

The keyboard on the Windows box at work has an arrow, as did a Remington typewriter I had in the 1950’s.

Ramón,

Sidebar: We grew up with Royal Standard office typewriters. The word "shift" was used on the key. That in itself hindered my migration to a computer! <vbg>

Neil,

Except that they had to change that for the export market. Throughout the Spanish-speaking world, for instance, the word Shift would have meant nothing. It read either “MAYÚSC." (short for “mayúsculas”, capital letters) or it had the arrow, sometimes both.

Arrows — the international language! <lol>
