*Photoshop 7 files will not open in CS

Hi…I get an error message when i try to open a file in Photoshop CS that i created in Photoshop 7. The error message says that "the layer is not a valid text layer." Has anyone run into this problem? How can i fix it because i have to be able to edit my 7 files in CS. Thanks!

Did you install the 7.0.1 update?
