Hi. Mac OS 9.22, Blue and White G3. I am trying to bring in an image from one Photoshop file to another, to drop on top of the first one. The one I’m bringing in is a PMS Purple. The one I’m dropping onto is a PMS blue. No matter what I’ve tried, Montone, Duotone, creating a new layer, etc. etc. the Purple continually changes to the blue–it won’t retain the PMS Purple info. Any input is much appreciated. Thanks!

are you copying a spot channel??

just copy the purple channel

now in th pic with the blue channel make a new channel that is purple and paste.
