Tagged image not prompting at open

I have some images supplied to me with a Nikon Camera Profile, but when I open them they are not prompting me about the profile mismatch with my working RGB space, which is Adobe RGB. This is in Photoshop 7 and CS.
The same files opened in PS 5.5 do prompt me. What’s up with that?

Is it set to convert without prompting??

No, it is set to prompt on all mismatches, but for some reason is not on these particular images.

What does PS’s image window Document Profile list as the Source Space?

Source space indicated is Nikon Adobe RGB 4.0.0.3000
and my setting match those in your link exactly.
