comments saved w/ .EPS files, how do you turn this off

having issues with .eps files that Photoshop is saving. Can save those files directly to an external hdd, and doesn’t have the comments on them. If save a file to the internal hdd, it puts the comments on the file. Then get errors when trying to copy to an external hdd. Can compress the file using Drop Stuff and then copies to the external hdd fine. Is there anyway that you can disable Photoshop from saving comments to files it saves? will greatly appreciate any and all help
is running off a Mac G4 running OS 9.2.2 thanks

What version of Photoshop are you using?

Are you talking about finder comments?

Did you try the "disable finder comments" plugin?
