When I open a photo in Photoshop 5.5 and make some changes (rgb to cmyk, resolution), then save it as a Photoshop eps file, the file saves as an Illustrator eps file. Why? When I take Illustrator off the computer and do the same thing, the files save as a generic eps file and I have to specify which program to use when opening them. Shouldn’t they simply save as Photoshop eps files? Thanks for your help.
