Reducing load time?

I thought I remember seeing an option that keeps extra plug ins and brushes from loading at startup but cannot find it. Is there an option that can do this? And is there another way to speed up elements loading time. I have 768 mb of ram and it still loads slow.

One way, at least for the brushes, is to put them in another folder that PSE doesn’t recognize in its startup routing. Open them from the Brushes Palette when you need them.
