I installed ACR v 2.2 this week because I’m processing files from a Canon Mark II. It appears that the Shadows default is not 5, not 0 as it has been in the past. This causes loss of shadow detail, and posterization. How can I change the default back to 0?

No need to apologize. The creator of ACR is very active in the ACR section but not here in the main Photoshop forum. I just thought you’ll get a faster reply over there.

🙂 Just as I thought, Brantlea received a reply from Thomas Knoll himself within 6 minutes of posting in the ACR section. 😀
