here is a unique problem.

use a laptop coupled with a monitor and a wacom tablet/screen at work – 3 screens in all.

when i take the laptop home (down to one monitor) and try to open some photoshop functions, the pop up boxes come up at a location off of the laptop monitor. they come up somewhere off in space – somewhere based on having 3 screens.

is there a way to pull all of the pop up boxes/windows back to confines ofthe "home" photoshop window.

thanks for any input.

JC,

My guess is that you need to establish a "home" hardware profile which contains only the built-in display.

It’s been so long since I did it, that I can’t recall exactly how… but my laptop has different profiles (docked vs. undocked) which configure it to use different display, network and input devices, depending on whether it senses it is in the dock, or not, on boot.
