BATCH PROCESSING – consecutive re-numbering

Hi all

Due to amount of pics mounting up I’m trying to catalogue all into different categories on different cd’s. I’ve "batched" re-named/numbered one disc but would now like to add some more photos to same disc and have all the numbers running consecutively – is this possible?

I have used the renumbering option a few times, but as far as I can tell, it only renumbers the set of photos that you are processing. There is no way that I am aware of that you can specify a number. Have you considered just putting these photographs in a different folder on the CD?

Was hoping to have a "running" numbering system 🙁 but never mind I’ll use your suggestion. Thanks for advice.

You might try a free re-naming program that I use called Rename Master.
Can be download from http://tinyurl.com/z0y6
Takes a little playing to learn how to use it, but it works for me.
