DCS 1 files in Photoshop CS: forced color profile embedding and batch renaming in File Browser

Photoshop CS automatically embeds color profiles when saving CMYK images to DCS 1 file format and does not allow us to unclick the option.

It is also not possible to batch rename DCS 1 files in the File Browser, each separation being treated as a separate file.

Any way these can be prevented?

Why would anyone even want to use DCS1 format??
