When using a selection tool such as the magnetic lasso, I sometimes accidentally close the selection. I haven’t found a way to undo the close, only to use cntl-z and start over. This, of course, is a major bummer if the selection is anything but simple. Is there a way to step back into the selection (re-open) and continue?

Thanks,
Teffy

Teffy, if you do it right away after you’ve lost the selection, you can go to the top of the page and pick Select>Reselect (also can be done with the keyboard shortcut Shift+Ctrl+D.

when a selection is closed by accident you can use the ‘add to selection’ option on the selection tool and just continue where you left off….it will pick it up as a whole when you reach the end.
