I no longer use it but i seem to remember that 4.1.1 did have some color management settings (which didn’t work that well) and if it is an EPS file, remember that you are looking at a low-rez preview.
The obvious answer is to do what most of the rest of us have done and dump QXP in favour of InDesign.
As Ann said, you are looking at a low fres preview in Quark, even with tiffs so the color will not look right. Print one out and the colors should match if they really have the same build.
Usual abbreviations: PS for Photoshop (or Postscript too) PSCS for Photoshop CS. QXP for Quark XPress.
I still can’t get used to seeing "PS" for Photoshop. No matter how hard I try, I still read PS as PostScript every time I see it used in the forum. I was using PostScript well before Photoshop even existed. I just made a short abbreviation that automatically expands into ‘Photoshop’ every time I type it and follow it with space bar.
