sorry to be asking this here its not realated to PS
but you guys ave helped me allot before so I hoping you could again.

I got a new harrdrive because my old one is died.

the only software I had was for an ibook so thats what was installed.. but my computer is a g3.
Is it bad to be runing the OS from an ibook cd on a g3?
Will it cauze problems?
the macchine boots up very strange and slow now do you think its cauze of the os?

yes. The Mac OS has become very system specific. Install the OS from a retail CD or the CD that came with you G3.
